Edison also told Morgan to discredit Tesla in front of other investors, in order to keep them away from him. John Pierpont Morgan (1837 – 1913) was an American financier, banker, and art collector who dominated corporate finance and industrial consolidation during his time. He was also a member of the Templar Order.
