Here we seek to reveal the danger of blind faith. This article has yet to be sourced. Please add citations and a list of appearances verifying its relevance to Assassin's Creed. Failure to do so will result in the article being deleted. |
Jamal was a member of the Syrian sect of the Assassin Order. In 1191, he and fellow Assassin Masun secretly defected to the Templar Order, and allowed a contingent of Templars to enter the Assassins' fortress of Masyaf by opening the gates. After that, he continued to act as an Assassin, standing at his post just outside Masyaf in the countryside.[1]
Trivia
- Originally, he was to be an assassination target in Assassin's Creed, but was ultimately cut from the final game due to constraints on Ubisoft. However, he still appears as a minor Easter egg. [citation needed]
- When you use Eagle Vision, Jamal is seen as the only red enemy Assassin. When killed, the other Assassins react as any other guard and attack you.[1]
- Apart from Eagle Vision, he is quite easily distinguishable. While other nearby Assassins are standing still and stationary at their posts, Jamal is the only one moving around.[1]
