Ishida Mitsunari (Japanese: 石田 三成; 1559 – 6 November 1600) was a daimyo serving Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and most notably the leader of the Western army at the Battle of Sekigahara, fighting on behalf of the Toyotomi against Tokugawa Ieyasu.
The Western army was eventually defeated by Ieyasu's Eastern army; during the battle, Mitsunari's general Shima Sakon was killed by Yamauchi Taka; sometime after, Mitsunari was captured and executed.
