Iktinos, also known as Ictinus, was a Greek architect active during the 5th century BCE.
He was known for being the architect of the Parthenon in the Akropolis Sanctuary in Athens and the Temple of Apollo in the city of Elis,[1] as well as being regarded as the designer of the Temple of Apollo Epikourios in Arkadia.
