Iceland, showing on king Harald's map

Iceland (Old Norse: Ísland) is an European island country in the North Atlantic Ocean. Originally the home of the Papar[1], the island was later discovered by Vikings, who would carry ravens aboard their ships and set them free to see if they were near land.[2]

In 2020, the Assassin Layla Hassan added a mod of a number of items based on the huldufólk of Icelandic folklore to her Animus sessions of shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir's memories.[3]
