The Hunting Spear was a common spear used throughout Greece during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found many Hunting Spears during her journeys throughout Greek world in the inventories of blacksmiths and within chests and held by corpses.[1]
