The Hookblade was a modification to the hidden blade adopted by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, during his time in Constantinople. By the time of Ezio's arrival in Constantinople, the Hookblade had already become a commonplace tool amongst the Assassins of the city.[1]
Gameplay
The Hookblade is designed to make travel quick and easy, speeding up navigation by about 30%.[1]. Ezio can use ziplines planted throughout the city, making movement across distances faster. It can also be used as a weapon in combat, wherein Ezio pulls enemies in for a close-ranged attack.[2]
