Heraclides was an Egyptian scholar who lived during the 1st century BCE.

In the 1st century BCE, Heraclides worked alongside fellow scholars, Kition and Merkes, in an attempt to solve the pyramid mystery of pharaoh Sneferu, using the 3rd century BCE scholar Manetho's notes in their research. Eventually, after years of not yielding any results, Kition and Heraclides left the research, leading Merkes to solve the mystery on his own.[1]
