Hebenou is a city of Upper Egypt, called Theodosiopolis by the Greeks, in the 1st century.

It was the home to the Medjay Emsaf, his wife Merti, and their son, Ebe, until Bion, a killer working for the Order of the Ancients came and killed Merti and Ebe in 70 BCE, while Emsaf was away.
