Description
This sturdy bronze shield is engraved with a lion's head to ward against evil and injury.

Behind the scenes

The Guardian Lion, a shield in Assassin's Creed: Origins, appears to be inspired by a stock image of a Chinese shield.[2] The concept of the shield and its name appears to be inspired by the guardian lions in Chinese Buddhism, which were thought to protect buildings from harmful spirits and people that might be a threat.

The digital model for this shield was later reused for the Shishi Guard, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.
