Yu Dayong (unknown – 1526), also known as The Slaver, was one of the Eight Tigers, a group of powerful Templar eunuchs that controlled the Chinese imperial court during the reign of the Ming dynasty Zhengde Emperor. He played a role in the purge of the Chinese Assassins after the ascendance of the Jiajing Emperor. He enforced the slave trade, selling opponents to the Portugese and making huge profits while humiliating and exiling the enemies of the Templars.

In 1526, he became a target of the Assassin Shao Jun, after her return to China from Europe.

Trivia

• "Yu Dayong" is a mistakenly translated name possibly for some typing oversight through Wubi input method . The Ming official's real name is Gu Dayong(谷大用).The typist seemed to have confused "谷" and "欲",both characters share the part "谷",though the latter is spelled "Yu" in Pinyin.
• His mustache is inconsistent with reality,because Gu Dayong was a eunuch in 1526.
