The Greyhound was a British privateer ship during the 1770s, which preyed on merchant vessels on the trade route to the Virgin Islands. In 1777, the Assassins Connor and Robert Faulkner set out on the Aquila to destroy it. They confronted the Greyhound and her fleet under the cover of darkness, and managed to sink all the ships.
