Biography

In 259 CE, the Hidden One Aquilus was given entrance into his camp, and Gracchus, who had already gathered information on Aquilus' activities, realized that he was the Hidden One's next assassination target. With this, he stabbed Aquilus in the chest, knocking him out.[1] However, the camp was ambushed by the Alemanni shortly after, which resulted in a defeat for the Romans.[2]
