A battle in the Frontier.

The Frontier was a large countryside located in the north-eastern plains of America. Many battles of the American Revolutionary War took place here.

The Frontier consisted mostly of wilderness, containing cliffs, forests, rivers, and mountains. It was also inhabited by a variety of animals, including bears, beavers, deer, wolves, rabbits, and elk.[1]

While Boston and New York City were primary destinations from the Frontier, the countryside itself also contained several small Native American or European settlements - including Connor's Mohawk village - and the towns of Lexington, Concord and Charlestown. One could also find logging camps, mills, and trading posts. As the war dragged on the towns would change and one would find battalions of men preparing for a battle, or several injured bodies after a battle.[2]

The Frontier was full of treacherous terrain with sttep cliffs and thick forests. During winter, snow would pile up on the ground making navigation difficult.[2]

The Assassin Connor Kenway was particularly skilled in navigating the Frontier, and was able to climb and free-run across tree branches; granting him an advantage over enemies traveling below.[1]
