Francesco Salviati (1443-1479) was the Archbishop of Pisa and one of the Pazzi co-conspirators.

Francesco was convinced that he would be the next Archbishop of Florence. But he was enraged when Lorenzo de' Medici stood in his way. But the Templars were there to heal his wounds. It was Salviati who marched his troops into the city. Afterwards, he fled to an area in Tuscany near San Gimignano. Francesco lives within Villa Salviati in Tuscany, where he is assassinated by Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Sequence 5. Ezio opens the villa's gate to let in Mario's mercenaries. Salviati screamed insults at Ezio, while Ezio replied that the Templars talked too much. He is killed by Ezio while fighting the mercenaries.

Last Words

Ezio: Where is Jacopo?

Salviati: He knows you come for him... emerging only in darkness to meet with the others...

Ezio: That answers when... Now tell me where? La fede dovrebbe dare conforto, non pena. (Death should bring comfort, not pain.) Requiescat in Pace. (Rest in peace.)
