The Fountain of Youth was a fabled fountain, said to give eternal youth to anyone who drank its water.
The Assassins however, knew that this was because of a Piece of Eden located in the fountain.
Several explorers tried to reach the Fountain of Youth, including one named Juan Ponce de León. An Assassin, named Miguel Ramón Carlo de Lugo, tried to convice Juan to turn back but he refused, and was struck by a poisoned arrow.
Later, on Juan's retreat to Havana, Cuba, he died from the poison that coated the arrow.
