Fort George was a fort in New York.

History

Fort George was a fort of many names starting off as Fort Amsterdam, then it became Fort James, Fort William, Fort Anne, before finally using it's last name Fort George.

At the end of the War this fort was destroyed believed to be another act of malice towards the King.[1]
