Federico da Montefeltro, also known as Federico III da Montefeltro (June 7, 1422 – September 10, 1482), was one of the most succesfull Italian condottiero during the Italian Renaissance.
In 1454, Federico laid siege to the city of Monteriggioni in Tuscany under the orders of the Florentines. However, Mario Auditore, Monteriggioni's leader, managed to subdue the attackers with his leadership.
Trivia
- In the questions asked after finishing Chapter 3 of the Italian Wars branch of Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy, it is hinted that Federico may have been searching for "something" inside Monteriggioni.
