The Engineer

The Engineer (real name: Gaspar de la Croix) previously known as The Merchant is a multiplayer character in the upcoming game, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, whose assassination weapon of choice is a compass. It is stated by Ubisoft that he may make an appearance in the single-player mode in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, along with the other multiplayer characters.

Trivia

  • "De la Croix" is French for "of the Cross." This is almost certainly a reference to his Templar origins.
  • Before the launch of the Brotherhood Beta, he was referred to as "the Merchant."
