Eleanor Mallow was the daughter of the British military officer, Commander Matthew Davenport, who enrolled in the British Army during the American Revolutionary War. Usually a brat, Eleanor had a life heavily regimented in a military fashion by her father. Because her devotion to her country was so absolute, she hid her identity to fight alongside her father's men, unbeknownst to him.
In 2012, her genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, for the training of their Animus recruits, under the title of the Redcoat.
