Diana

Diana was the wife of Terry, the mother of his child, and an assistant to Dr. Lyle White during the events of the American Revolution. She resided on the Davenport Homestead with her husband and son.

Biography

Early life

Formerly, she had resided with her family and Godfrey's on a small plot of land north of Champlain, New York, where she described it as a, "tangle of rock and bramble".

Life on the Homestead

Soon after arriving, a robber attempted to break into her home, but was apprehended and killed by Connor. Terry and Godfrey erupted into a brawl over who should have been watching over the women, but this argument was dismissed shortly afterward. Diana then patched up Terry's wounds, which consisted of a bruise on his forehead.

Diana served as an apprentice and nurse to Dr. Lyle White after he arrived on the Homestead, as he had received a lot of patients and couldn't keep up with them on his own. On the Assassin Connor's arrival, Lyle asked him to get anyone who possessed steady hands, to which Connor rushed out and requested's Diana's assistance, who followed him back to the medical station.

She then helped Lyle treat the patients, all sailors from the Aquila, while Connor performed minor medical help on those nearby. After all was done, Lyle mentioned that Diana had done an impressive job and was a great deal of help, even remarking that she was more capable than the previous assistant he had in Boston.

She later attended Norris and Myriam's marriage, and celebrated at "The Mile's End" shortly afterward. She also was present at the funeral of Achilles Davenport, and laid a rose on his coffin.

Trivia

  • Diana and Terry were both illiterate, and they required Father Timothy to read a letter received from Terry's favorite cousin Jock.
