The Derringer Pistol is a palm pistol dating to the Victorian era. Its diminutive size afforded easy concealment at the cost of firepower. Even so, it was still considerably larger than some other derringer models and could chamber two cartridges.
In February 1868, when the Master Assassin Henry Green was spotted in Whitechapel, London by Blighters working for the Templar Rexford Kaylock, he gave the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye each a Derringer Pistol as they left to eliminate the criminals before they could report back to their boss.
