Aias the Clean (died 420s BCE) was a mercenary hired by the Tempest of the Order of the Storm, who operated in Achaia during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography
While many other mercenaries didn't care about how they looked or smelled, Aias believed he could prove that mercenaries deserved as much respect or adoration as a polemarch. Always presentable, Aias did manage to gain fans, that is until they saw him do his job up close.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, Aias was employed by the Order of the Storm and was eliminated by his target, the Spartan misthios Kassandra within the Olouros Fortress in the Erymanthos Peaks of Achaia.[2]
Trivia
- Aias' looks are randomly generated as are those of, for example, Exadios the Backbreaker.
