David Walston, commonly known as Big Dave, was a blacksmith who resided within the Davenport Homestead during the American Revolution. As he resided there, David helped to craft weapons and other objects, which could later be sold to raise income or for equipping to fight.

During his travels, the Assassin Connor found David in the Frontier, and saved him from being executed by British troops and invited him to live in Homestead to craft weapons and metalworks for Connor.

Then Ratonhnhaké:ton helped David to find part for his new tools so that David can craft more tools and gave Connor some very good tools like the War Tomahawk.
