Dark Steel Mask

The Dark Steel Mask was a helmet-like mask used in the 5th century BCE Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this mask in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Dark Steel Mask, a headgear in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other headgears in the same game, for example the Helm of Prophecy.

This type of headgear was commonly worn by the guards loyal to the Cult of Kosmos.
