Danbury is a city in the state of Connecticut, United States.
During the American Revolutionary War, a regiment of British Regulars occupied the village, got drunk on rum, and threatened to burn the village down. The Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton sent his recruits to rouse the militias and mount an offensive against them.[1]
