Africa is the world's second-largest continent, located to the south of Europe and the southwest of the Middle East and Asia.

Africa was the origin of Ancient Egypt, one of the most glorious civilizations of antiquity, which was then invaded by a Proto-Templar organization called Order of the Ancients, founded by Pharaoh Smenkhkare, and a millennium later the Order was acquired by Rome.[1]

Both the Assassin Brotherhood and Templar Order had spread their influence to the African continent as early as the Roman era.[2]

At the time of Europe's colonial expansions, numerous Africans were captured and deported to the New World by Europeans. There they were sold to white colonists to work on plantations or as personal slaves, in numerous colonies throughout the American continents and the Caribbean.[3][4][5]

In September or October 2006, a virus dubbed L-11 broke out in Africa. After three months, 96% of the continent's population had died, and even after six years, Africa remained essentially empty.[6] This story was later alleged by Abstergo Industries to be a falsified account reported by Erudito, a hacking collective.[5]
