The Confederate States of America, or simply the Confederate States, was a country which existed during the American Civil War. The confederation was formed by the secession of the states of South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina and Tennessee.
The Confederate States were secretly ruled by the Templar Order; Grand Master William M. Tweed was the boss of Tammany Hall, the political machine that controlled New York City politics and through which Tweed influenced the Democratic Party.
