Claudius (Latin: Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus; 1 August 10 BCE – 13 October 54) was Roman emperor from 41 to his death.

Named emperor following the assassination of Caligula, Claudius constructed much infrastructure across the empire, completing his predecessor's acqueduct and calling it Aqua Claudia.[1] His own death has been attributed to poisoning by death cap mushrooms.[2]

In 2012, Claudius was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[2]
