The Centro district (English: Center district) is one of the four districts of Rome, and a location in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. This district is characterized by its large cityscape and tall buildings. During the Renaissance, the Centro district, like the Antico and Campagna districts, became decrepit under Borgia influence as the majority of the shops were closed down. Five Borgia towers ruled over the Centro district, each guarded by a Borgia captain. By 1503, Ezio Auditore had burned down all of the Borgia towers, as well as re-opened most of the shops and reestablished the Courtesans guild and the Rosa in Fiore in order to aid him in his war against the Borgia.

The Centro district is the home of famous Roman landmarks such as the Pantheon, Mausoleo di Augusto and the Campidoglio. It is also were Tiber Island, the Assassin's stronghold, is located.

In the Centro district

This is the only district that is adjacent to all three other districts, hence it's name as the 'Central district'. The Tiber River separates it from the Vaticano district but it can be accessed via the Pont Sant Angelo or Gondola. Within this district you can find:

• Eight Blacksmiths + One Blacksmith Shop Quest
• Twenty three Doctors + One Medical Shop Quest

• Five Borgia/Assassin Towers
• Eight Pigeon Coops
• Five Tunnel Entrances
• Three Stables

Trivia

• The Centro District is the only district that does not feature Lairs of Romulus.
