The Carpenter

The Carpenter (harvested from: John O'Brien) was an Animi Avatar used by the entertainment branch of Abstergo Industries, as part of their plan to influence the general public, via the console stage of the Animus technology. His specialty weapon was a heavy iron mallet, used in both his craft and to crush bones.

Unique moves

The Carpenter had several unique moves:

(Low Profile, Front)

With the Carpenter's intimidating figure approaching them, his target only has time to look in shock as his massive left hand grabs a tight hold upon their throat. As his victim lifts their head up, desperately gagging for air, the Carpenter produces his mallet and sweeps their legs out from under them, sending them flat to the floor. His helpless target has mere seconds to take their final breath before the Carpenter brings his mallet down upon their abdomen, subsequently crushing vital organs.

(Low Profile, Back)

The Carpenter walks up behind his target and roughly shoves their shoulder as he begins to draw his mallet. When they turn in response, before they can react, the Carpenter forcefully slams his weapon into his victim's face, shattering their skull and killing them instantly.

(High Profile, Front)

The Carpenter runs up to his target and grabs his mallet close to its head, before smashing it hard into their forehead, shattering the skull. As his victim is dying, the Carpenter lifts them up and throws them over his shoulders, slamming them into the floor, where they lay still.

(High Profile, Back)

The Carpenter runs up behind his target and brutally swings his mallet into their right leg, shattering the knee. As his victim kneels and clutches their wounded limb, the Carpenter grabs his weapon close to its head and mercilessly smashes it twice into the back of their head. From there, while they crumple to the floor with their head caved in, the Carpenter stores his mallet back at his belt.

(Aerial Kill)

The Carpenter jumps from above a rooftop with his mallet, landing on top of his target. Using the momentum from his fall, he forces his weapon into his victim's skull, crushing it in the process. Standing up as they lay dead, he removes his mallet from their head and places it back at his waist.

(Bench Kill)

The Carpenter grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Carpenter forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking their neck on the bench behind them.
