Calpurnia (born 75 BCE) was the third and last wife of Julius Caesar.
The day of Caesar's death, Calpurnia had the feeling that something wasn't right and tried to prevent her husband from going to the senate. Desperate to stop him, Calpurnia even considered to send for Cleopatra, her husband's mistress who was still in Rome, to help her convince Caesar to stay at home.[1]
However, Caesar rejected her pleas and went to the senate anyway where he was eventually murdered by Brutus and his fellow Hidden Ones.[1]
