Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin Jr. (born 1930) is an American engineer and former astronaut, and the second person to walk on the Moon. He was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing in history. In that mission, he collected an Apple of Eden for the Templar Order.
Biography
In the 20th century, the Templars discovered an Apple of Eden located on the Moon. Desiring the artifact, the Order planned a manned Moon mission through their puppet-organization, NASA. In 1963, President John F. Kennedy proposed a joint-mission with the Soviet Union.[1]
Fearing Soviet interference, the Templars engineered Kennedy's assassination later that same year, allowing Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, a secret Templar, to succeed him.[1] Johnson would push heavily for the advancement of the space program. In 1969, the Templars were successful in launching the Apollo program. Aldrin, an astronaut in the project, retrieved the Apple. Upon his return to Earth, he delivered it into Abstergo Industries' hands.[2]
Legacy
The Assassin Clay Kaczmarek later revealed details of Aldrin's involvement in the Templar conspiracy to his successor, Desmond Miles, via messages he had hidden within the Animus. Desmond solved the puzzle containing the message about the truth of the moon landing in September of 2012.[3] The message in particular displayed a popular photograph released to the public of Aldrin on the lunar surface, albeit edited to show an Apple of Eden in front of him. The insignia of the Templars and the logo of Abstergo Industries were also hidden in the negative photo, the former on the flag and the latter on the landing module.[2]
