The Bow of the Stalker was a bow which belonged to Zoe, a Chiot Daughter of Artemis. The bow, adorned with figurines of the mythological griffin, was considered by Zoe to be the finest bow she owned.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra helped Zoe by releasing her, and then her 'brethren', wolves, from the local soldiers' clutches. In gratitude, Zoe announced that Kassandra was worthy of the bow, and gave it to her.[1]

Behind the scenes
The Bow of the Stalker, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Recurve Bow, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Griffin, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
