Book quests

Main article: The Polo Symbols After completing the memory "Signs and Symbols, Part I", Ezio Auditore found the following books scattered throughout Constantinople with his Eagle Vision.

• The Travels of Marco Polo by Marco Polo
• One Thousand and One Nights by an unknown author
• The Book of Kings by an unknown author
• Nibelungenlied by an unknown author
• Iliad by Homer
• The Flute Girl by an unknown author

After finding and purchasing all books, a cutscene involving bookshop owner Sofia Sartor and Ezio Auditore is unlocked at the Assassin hideout.

Trivia

• Book Shops and books have replaced the functions of Art Merchants and paintings from Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
• Buying every book available from the Book Shops in Constantinople and Cappadocia, along with finding all the hidden books from Polo Memories, unlocks the 'Sage' achievement/trophy.
• As of December 21st, It is impossible to get the 'Sage' achievement/trophy.
