The Pupil's Promise was a kanabō that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe were tasked by Gobo's elder with dealing with a group of raiders that were terrorizing the population of Kii. Following a clue from the elder, they located their leader, Jinbei. The pair then eliminated him, retrieving the heavy weapon from his personal effects.[1]
