Dogan's Farm was a farm southeast of Jarjaraya belonging to the Turkic captain Dogan bin Arslan, who used it to hold captured Zanj rebels in the 860s.
After learning of imprisoned rebels at the site, the Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq traveled to the farm on behalf of the rebel leader Ali ibn Muhammad. There, Basim freed the rebels and rejoined Ali nearby to prepare an attack on Dogan at his villa.[1]
