Ahlstan was a 9th century Anglo-Saxon farmer from Hamtunscire, England.

In the 870s, Alhstan was a rabbit farmer and was unhappily married to Gerhild. One day while she was managing her crops, Gerhild was assisted by a traveler, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, in killing all of his rabbits. Coming back, Alhstan saw his dead pets and ultimately blamed his wife for making him miserable on purpose while Eivor apologized for being misled.[1]
