The Katarraktes Cave was a cave on Mount Dirfi on the island of Euboea, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War the farmer of the Chalkis Farm used the cave to store his goods, as well as to hide from local bandits.[1]
At some point, the farmer went missing, and at his wife's suggestion, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the cave, finding the farmer's riches, but not the farmer. The men at the cave's entrance suggested Kassandra look for the farmer on the road leading east.[1]
