Khem Trireme was a military trireme docked in the harbor of Letopolis, Egypt.
In 48 BCE, it was visited by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa during his time in the city. Bayek boarded the ship and eliminated the soldiers, claiming their valuables in the process.[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The name of the trireme references the city it was docked in, as Khem 𓋊𓐍𓐝𓂜𓊖𓉐 (ḫm) was Letopolis's Egyptian name.
- While Letopolis is located in Sapi-Res Nome, the trireme is listed as being part of Ka-Khem Nome.
