The Erochos Military Camp

The Erochos Military Camp was a military camp located southwest of the Pharsalos Fort in Phokis, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra infiltrated the camp, claiming the valuables within.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of the campsite alludes to the former town of Erochos, which was destroyed by the army of Xerxes I of Persia around 480 BCE.
