The Neorion Naval Arsenal was a military garrison and arsenal located in Krokodilopolis, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa infiltrated the arsenal in search of Melina, an Egyptian woman who was responsible for poisoning Petsuchos, a sacred albino crocodile worshipped in the temple in Krokodilopolis. There, Bayek found Melina conversing with one of the soldiers and assassinated her.[1]
Behind the scenes
The harbor's architecture was similar to Phoenicia's Cothon.
