Solomon (c. 990 BCE – 931 BCE) was the fourth monarch of the Kingdom of Israel, succeeding his father David c. 960 CE.[1] In 960 BCE,[2] during his reign, he constructed a temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, which stood on top of an Isu vault.[3][4]
