Domitian (Latin: Titus Flavius Caesar Domitianus Augustus; 51 – 96) was Roman Emperor from 81 to his death. He was the third and last Emperor of the Flavian dynasty.

Biography[edit | edit source]

The son of Vespasian, Domitian succeeded his brother Titus as Emperor in 81. The following year, he built the Arch of Titus to honor his deceased brother and commemorate his victory in the Sack of Jerusalem.[1] Around 87, he completed construction of the Temple of Vespasian and dedicated it to both his father and brother.[2]

In the 90s, the Hidden Ones sent pleas and requests to Domitian in regards to citizenship issues concerning the Iceni tribe of Britain. When their pleas were ignored by the Roman Senate, the Hidden Ones took matters into their own hands by assassinating Governor Verus of Britannia.[3]
