The Battleground of Makedonia

The Battleground of Makedonia was the site of the Battle of Amphipolis in the Roots of an Empire region of Makedonia, Greece during the Peloponnesian War.

On this field near Amphipolis, the forces of Athens and Sparta clashed, the former aided by Deimos and the latter by the Spartan misthios Kassandra. This was also the field where general Brasidas of Sparta fell.[1]
