Accipiter.

Accipiter was an Alaman general, and a cousin of the Assassin Aquilus.

In 259, Accipiter was asked by his uncle Lucius, also an Assassin, to retrieve the Ankh, an ancient artefact. He arranged a meeting with Aquilus to give him the artefact, but soon found himself at War with a small army of Romans. After the Alamans had won the war, Accipiter found Aquilus subconcious inside the Roman general's tent. He took Aquilus with him to his home to tend to his wounds.

When Aquilus reached conciousness, Accipiter told him about the battle that had taken place, and the next morning the two travelled a short distance towards Aquilus' destination. They stopped near a river, where Accipiter gave Aquilus the artefact. After Aquilus requested that the Alamans would save his hometown Lugdunum during the wars, the two went their separate ways and Accipiter returned home. The same year, Accipiter fulfilled Aquilus' request and the Alamans spared Lugdunum.
