Access the Animus is a fan site acting as a community-made hub for the Assassin's Creed series. It was launched on 11 May 2013 in Italian, before releasing an English version of the site.

Access the Animus began on 11 May 2013, with seven founding members, Marco "Markuz" Chiacchiera,[1] Xander, Sara, Hephaestus, AJ23, and Simonsens.[2]

The website include several sections with differing functions. The Inside the Animus section contains analyses and in-depth articles about the lore from the games and expanded universe. The Entertainment section contains articles about the diverse aspects of the franchise. The IntoTheInitiates sections formerly provided information on all updates of the now-defunct website Assassin's Creed: Initiates.
