The Battle Staff was a staff used in the 5th century BCE Greece. Its head fashioned to resemble a hammer, the staff made specifically for battle, and it excelled in its duty.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra commonly found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Battle Staff, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including the Lakonian Staff. These are all the recycled model of Raneb's Hammer, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
