Banski worked an artist and was tasked to design signs for his fellow dwarves to find the multiple shelters around Svartalfheim. At an abandoned shelter in Fornama, Banski decided to design a trap for any jötnar warriors passing by. He entrapped and killed many of them before catching the attention of the Æsir lord Havi, who fell into his death trap. Havi was forced to navigate through it, but when he emerged unscathed, he commended the dwarven architect for his craftsmanship.[1]
