Similar to the Abstergo Files, the Abstergo Story was a series of informational text and videos that were made available to the general public through participation of the console stage of the Animus technology, created by Abstergo Entertainment.
It was Abstergo Industries' aim to influence the populace through these means, although a hacking collective by the name of Erudito bypassed Abstergo's security in order to reveal truths about the organization and its work, provided that the audience worked together with them by completing various challenges.
